An oil painter and ceramic artist, Carla Thomson is inspired by the organic elegance of nature. She finds endless aspects to explore artistically from the beauty of a single bloom, to the branches of a tree, a breathtaking landscape or elegantly formed platter for your table.
After 25 years, Carla closed the door on her career in technology and became a full-time artist excited to pursue the work that she'd only dreamed of. Four years on, she now spends her days taking thousands of pictures of flowers in her backyard, playing Candy Crush while she waits for paint to dry, or elbow deep in clay as I listen to an audiobook at double speed.
