 Collaborates with Public Art Works to Showcase Local Artists

HopeHealth Hospice & Palliative Care (HHPCRI), Rhode Island’s leader in hospice and palliative care has partnered with Public Art Works for over 17 years to feature the creations of local artists. HopeHealth, a 30-bed inpatient hospice unit, proudly displays artwork in its first floor gallery. This dedicated exhibition area features the works of artists from New England and neighboring  states.

“Art can enhance life, speak to the soul, spark memories, and help us express emotion.

These exhibitions align perfectly with our mission to support the spiritual, emotional and

physical well-being of our patients and their families”, said Diana Franchitto,

HopeHealth President & CEO. “It is an honor to show the work of local artists in a space that offers comfort and dignity at the end of life. We are also hope to foster a sense of

community by supporting local artists and showcasing their work.”

 

For more than a century, HopeHealth has delivered high-quality, compassionate care to individuals at various stages of illness across Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Established in home care in 1910 and hospice care in 1976, HopeHealth unified its services in 2011 to provide comprehensive home care, palliative care, and hospice care. As the second oldest hospice in the country and one of the largest not-for-profit providers of palliative and hospice care in New England, HopeHealth has set the gold standard in serious illness and

end-of-life care. HopeHealth is also the major teaching affiliate for hospice and palliative care of The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
